El Nido (the nest) has trained professionals to meet the needs of expectant as well as new mothers
and their families. Consultation, teaching, training and counseling are provided by professionals
and qualified support staff at our location or on location with the mothers and family as requested.
Diane Lindstrom, mother of 6 children and grandmother to 11 has been busy teaching and training her children the past several years. After several pregnancies and nursing 6 babies she brings years of firsthand experience and passion for labor and delivery, as well as nursing and infant care. Our doulas are trained by El Nido Birth & Family Ministries. They support families delivering at area hospitals and at home births.
